uVu Newsletter - September 2008
Thanks to everybody that came out to see us play at Bert's
Tavern! We had a great time, and
will definitely play there again sometime in the future. Midnight Rider by The Allman Brothers
Band made its first appearance in our setlist :)
Over the past few months we’ve been refocusing on our
original material and are looking
forward to featuring a lot more of it at our shows over the coming year.
Summer is winding
down, but you’ve still got one more chance to come see us play outdoors
and enjoy some grass and sunshine along with the music! It’s the last of the 2008 Seattle Peace
Concerts series, and will be at Woodland Park on Sunday 9/21 from
12-6PM. We are scheduled to start
playing at 4:30PM.
Once again our band
lineup will be blessed with the presence of sizzling guitarist Bruce
Johnston and bass player extraordinaire Larry Penoza. Come joins us along with several other
great Northwest bands and artists to celebrate the Autumnal Equinox and
enjoy the good company of many fellow peace lovers!
